How the Internet Speed Test Works

This tool communicates with the Tech Wave Cloud server to test the key parts of your internet connection.

Ping measures how quickly your device receives a response from the server.
Jitter measures variation between individual ping response times.
Download speed measures how quickly test data reaches your device.
Upload speed measures how quickly your device sends test data to the server.
